*********
After working in the corporate world of the insurance industry, Carolyn was burnt out and knew it was time for a career change. She started a successful online home-based business in ’97 using her experience in administration management and human resources.
Carolyn saw an article on Personal Chefs and instantly knew that would be her new and fulfilling career. Carolyn’s grandmother was an outstanding cook with many awards to her credit. Her grandmother taught her the importance of cooking for the love of food and not the work of cooking; and her grandmother didn't believe in preparing food that wasn't made from scratch.
Carolyn’s lifelong love of cooking brought her to start a personal chef service, Carolyn’s Meals by Design. She has long been passionate about great food, and enjoys preparing exceptional meals. Although she has an extensive repertoire of recipes, what Carolyn value most is preparing dishes that appeal to her clients' personal tastes. Carolyn has taken a variety of culinary classes, and attends various culinary seminars to keep abreast of the latest culinary trends. She subscribes to a variety of cooking magazines and collects cookbooks.
Carolyn specializes in cooking lowfat meals that taste like spa cuisine, and provides her clients with a weekly fresh service. Carolyn believes that eating healthy is a lifestyle, and that diets don’t work. She understands that, once you commit to healthier lifestyle changes such as eating and exercise, your body will begin to change in positive ways.
Carolyn also teaches in-home cooking classes, and writes a monthly cooking tips column for an upscale complex in Alpharetta, GA. Carolyn is presently enrolled in a nutrition certification course.
