"THE Place to be, to be the BEST PC!™"

*********

Chef Alesia Coulter was born and raised in Bethlehem Pennsylvania. She became interested in cooking at a very early age in life. As soon as she could reach the stove or open the oven door she was helping her mother and grandmother help prepare the family meals and holiday desserts. Her grandparents, who are from Spain, have always influenced her Mediterranean style of cooking. Coulter says that she can truly appreciate the foods that are made from scratch, using only the freshest ingredients such as pure olive oil and fresh herbs.

Coulter took that love of cooking with her in life as it led in many different directions. She attended the University of Pittsburgh in pursuit of a business degree. However, that did not let her creativity shine through. So naturally, she packed up her culinary interests and enrolled in the culinary arts program at Northampton Community College. She graduated, Dean’s List, from the program in August of 2001. After graduation she worked with several caterers throughout the Lehigh Valley. However, she felt that the region needed something a tad bit different, a little more unique. She began to do research on the Internet when she discovered The Personal Chef Network, where she knew she had found a home. She now serves on the Personal Chefs Network Advisory Council as Catering Coordinator.

De Ja Food Personal Chef Service was established in November of 2002 and Coulter has never looked back. While providing clients with all the amenities of her personal chef service, she also teaches cooking classes at Northampton Community College. Alesia has fulfilled her culinary dreams and entrepreneurial aspirations and says she can only expand her business further. Her future goal is to obtain a storefront where she can operate a deli and have personal chef meals to go. Coulter is leading the way in the Lehigh Valley as a one-woman personal chef service. Her main goal is to accommodate every one of her client’s cultured palates as well as any of their dietary requests with her delicious meals. Alesia lives in Bethlehem with her husband Chad and their chocolate lab, Coco; and kitten, Lilly.
