Rebecca Wise has enjoyed cooking and entertaining as long as she can remember. She was exposed to the world of culinary art at the tender age of 18 through a job as a server at a private country club. Although her job was to serve, she often found herself in the kitchen - observing and learning the art of preparing meals. She often dreamed of what it would be like to have her own kitchen.

Life happened and Rebecca found herself in a job as a dental technician. Finding that unfulfilling, Rebecca sought an avenue of creative expression and became a costume designer and entrepreneur in one instant. She opened "A Wise Disguise", where she made custom costumes for businesses and theatre companies. That business did not fill the void and she found herself expressing her love of cooking in delectable dishes for her friends and family.

Cooking and entertaining is where she found the contentment she was looking for and with the result of encouragement from friends and family, Rebecca established Gourmet Everyday, A Personal Chef Service, in 2004. When she first started her business, she focused on custom dinner parties and events that captured a theme or era. Recently, Gourmet Everyday has affiliated with the Rock Institute in Newport Beach bringing fabulous explosions of flavor to healthful diets for amateur and professional athletes. Rebecca is dedicated to helping her clientele reach their physical goals whether it's changing their body composition, improving their health, improving their athletic performance, or simply increasing their energy level.

Rebecca is self-taught and prides herself in keeping abreast of current trends and techniques in the culinary world and continues her education in health and nutrition. She lives in Corona, CA with her husband and four children.

Rebecca is honored to receive the recognition of her peers through the endowment of the Pacesetter's Award.
